The Secchi Disk Foundation engages people of all ages around the world with fun, hands on marine science to inspire and educate while increasing our knowledge of the sea.
We run the Secchi Disk study , the world's largest citizen science study of the phytoplankton. Today, these tiny, sea surface, plant-like algae that start the marine food chain are altering in their abundance and distribution due to climate change.
