Description: Seavey, a Napa Valley, family-run estate winery, produces small-lot age-worthy Bordeaux-style Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from grapes grown on hillside vineyards of Howell Mountain. Tastings feature an extensive wine library and are held in the historic Franco-Swiss 1881 stone barn.

Our grapes are grown entirely on our family-run estate vineyard and the wine does not leave the property until it is in bottle. Seavey learned about the biochar process from Napa County RCD and now produces its own biochar, which it mixes with compost they make onsite from goat and sheep manure, grape skins, and downed leaves.
