The Often Herd had to pull out last week owing to the ill-health of fiddler Niles Krieger. We have managed however to replace the band with the brilliant “Old Baby Mackerel” band .
The band plays high-energy, foot-stomping Bluegrass featuring a dizzying line-up of renowned musicians from some of the UK’s best folk, Americana and festival bands. Their music uses the rhythmic sounds of fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and double bass to get knees bouncing and elbows swinging to the virtuosic sound of blistering solos and sweet harmonies. We are noisily confident that you’ll love it.
Those of you on our mailing list will be hearing from us separately but other than that if you hold The Often Herd tickets just come along with them on the night. If you can’t make it, please bear in mind that Seaford Sessions is a not-for-profit organisation and that donations of unused tickets are always welcome.
