The SCIHL was the first ever Ice Hockey league organized in Hong Kong during the 1995-1996 season by a company called Asiasports Ltd. The company was founded by a group of Ice Hockey enthusiasts led by Tom Barnes. Today, the league is organized by a committee led by Commissioner Art Tam and Deputy Commissioner Grant Phillips and is supported by the China Hockey Group. The league is fun, competitive and provides more people the opportunity to play the coolest game in Asia.
