Image augmentée - Mehrbildlichkeit - The augmented image (2019) Arriving in France, Florian Schmitt began once again to question the status of the photographic image, his use of the augmented image enabling him to think about photography differently and to introduce an element of spatiality. A photograph has long been seen purely as a flat image or a fixed light print. For a better understanding I like to describe the procedure of my current work: First of all, there is research to create the image, which includes taking photographic notes with my smartphone. These images are pictures of buildings, lights, and patterns.
