The 3rd Schematic Mapping Workshop will be held April 21 – 22, 2022 at Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, after successful editions in 2019 at TU Vienna , Austria and in 2014 at the University of Essex , UK. This workshop brings together researchers and practitioners working on various aspects of schematic maps, including cartographers, computer scientists, graphic designers, psychologists, and transport professionals.
The workshop will take place April 21 – 22, 2022.
The two-day workshop program will feature presentations of contributed original research papers as well as a number of invited position papers surveying the state of the art on all aspects of schematic mapping.
