At the heart of the studio is a mastering grade „Front-To-Back“ control room. Extensive acoustical treatment paired with wall mounted ATC SCM110ASL speakers results in a very transparent listening enviroment. It enables you to accurately judge sounds as they are produced and consequently make bold and quick artistic decisions.
The live room has a floor space of 27sqm and a ceiling height of up to 3m. Far from a dead room, the absorbtion and diffusion render the room sound very controlled. The Space is ideally suited for live tracking as the bleed between the instruments leads to a nice depth in the recordings without sounding overly roomy.
The studio was designed by Thomas Jouanjean of Northward Acoustics and opened its doors in 2016. Though the studio possesses a very modern and cutting edge design it still retains many qualities of classic recording studios.
