Babe Ruth League, Inc. is a non-profit, educational organization dedicated to developing better citizens by providing properly supervised baseball and softball competition for players 4 through 18 years of age. Established in 1951 and incorporated just one year later, there are now over 50,000 teams competing in over 10,000 leagues. Leagues that charter with Babe Ruth League and conduct a spring season of local league and interleague games are eligible to participate in the annual tournament competition that follows. Each chartered league can select a tournament team of players from specific age groups, who can earn their way to a World Series tournament by participating in their local District, State, and Regional tournaments, where the Champions advance to the next level.
