Description: 北海道舞踏フェスティバル2020／Hokkaido Butoh Festival official website 今年の会場は札幌、小樽、岩見沢の３都市。日本最北から舞踏の価値を問う。 Hokkaido Contemporary Dance Association is established to spread Butoh and Contemporary dance since 2011. While hosting a lot of Butoh Performances and Wo「kshops, we discovered potential of Butoh. The theme of the festival is a "Global and Local". We will figure out how the Butoh spread all over the world and how the Butoh rooted in a local place. We will relight the Butoh from the Nothem Japan.

北海道舞踏フェスティバルは2017年に札幌国際舞踏フェスティバルとして誕生しました。以来、年に1回のペースで形式を変えながら開催してきました。
初年度は2日間で8組を国内外から招聘、他にシンポジウムや展示を行いました。
2年目からは北海道舞踏フェスティバルに名称を変更し、北海道内6市町を巡業しながら公演、ワークショップ、フォーラムやイベントを行いました。
