Sandi Woo is an award winning Brisbane-based independent producer, community development facilitator, and movement teaching artist. For over 25 years, Sandi has worked in the arts industry both as a freelancer and with established organisations in WA, NSW and Qld.
Sandi’s work exists at the intersection of contemporary dance, creative practice and community engagement, focusing on providing opportunities for artists and non-artists to engage with movement and dance improvisation to develop their creative voice. The essence of her practice is to create experiences that foster and value human connection, connection to self and to others through a somatic movement improvisation practice.
