This was my winning entry for the Great Ball Pit 2020 Challenge. The challenge was for modules that released batches of only 13 balls at a time. My module has a compact input bin and stepper, which feeds a “stuck ball“ mechanism that waits for the 14th ball to trigger the “gate“, which would release 13 balls.

I made a simple shared drive compatible module using a ‘pinwheel‘ mechanism. Click here for the building instructions etc.
