In 2017, while undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer, I realized if I didn't compile the family photos and put names to the faces, all the family heritage information would be lost. I particularly wanted to preserve this information for my two sons, Matthew and Mark, but didn't want to damage the antiquated photo albums handed down to me. I also needed to combine photos from many different sources and families.
I set about creating a digital album I one day hope to print into a hardbound book. Meanwhile, some years forward, I am still finding, identifying, cleaning, and adding new photos. I never realized the enormity of the task I had taken on.
