Gypsy Jazz Social Club is a consortium of versatile musicians scattered throughout western Colorado and commonly inspired by the style of acoustic string-band jazz known as “Le Jazz Hot”. GJSC showcases material dating from the early 1900s to present day, sourcing traditional and modern repertoire, all “gypsified” for your listening and dancing enjoyment.
The Jazz Merchants Big Band (formerly the CMC Jazz Project) performs a variety of musical styles from swing to jazz-rock, including the music of Count Basie, Sammy Nestico, Steve Allen, Maynard Ferguson, Weather Report and others.

Sauced with Latin and a little funk and finding inspiration in music from Pat Metheny to John Coltrane, this trio performs their unique versions of contemporary jazz, original scores and even an occasional jazz standard thrown into the mix. ”
