Mr.Bhagwat is associated with a similar project at Baner implemented by Vasundhara Abhiyaan, a group created by Late Dr.Chandrakant Garudkar. Looking to the success of that project, and at the request of Mrs.Pradnya Limaye and family, Shri Bhagwat, along with a group of yougsters, got involved with the project.
The project involves planting of saplings of local plants like Karanj, Peepal, Kadi Limba (neem), Pimparni, Vaval (Monkey Biscuit), Apta (Ashtamantak), Amla, Kair, Kanchan, Kate Savar, Babul, Hiver,Bhutya, Shevga etc. in a professional way.
