Our mission is to maintain the integrity, well-being, and health of hooved animals through education first.
SHARE is a nonprofit humane society in the Champaign, IL area with investigators that cover a large portion of Illinois. We provide housing, care, and training for approximately 40 rescue horses at any one time. Other than some "sanctuary horses-horses that are not available for adoption due to physical or health issues," these horses are up for adoption to loving, forever homes. SHARE DOES NOT RECEIVE ANY FUNDING FROM FEDERAL, STATE OR LOCAL TAXES - your donations keep SHARE operating!
Our goals are simple - help educate horse owners on proper care and treatment. When necessary we step in to rescue neglected and abuse animals. SHARE is not longer able to be rescuing horses, we are now a "sanctuary" for 40+ horses that are living out their lives at SHARE. We have adoptable, ride-able horses available and some horses that are available as pasture pet/companions. Please visit our ADOPTION page to see who is available for adoption.
