Dr Henderson specialises in the analysis of the Russian energy sector and its impact on the global energy economy. He is Director of the Gas Programme at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, where he produces books and working papers on Russia and CIS oil and gas issues, while also exploring other global energy themes that are linked to the outlook for Russian energy. Experience
Dr Henderson has been analysing the Russian oil and gas industry for the past 25 years and is now Director of the Gas Programme at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES) . He is also a Visiting Professor of Energy Economics at Masaryk University in the Czech Republic, and lectures at a number of other universities across Europe. His career to date has spanned the oil industry, investment banking, consultancy and academia.
