Initially as an Optometrist in corporate Optometry, an MBA helped hone my skills and develop my passion to serve our Golden Oldies.
Our ageing Australian population creates both pressures and opportunities for the healthcare sector. Data suggests that $17.4b was spent by Government on Aged Care in 2016-17 with 69% dedicated to Residential Aged Care. Interestingly, 47% of people in Aged Care have been diagnosed with depression, the highest of all medical diagnoses.
