I am thinking about the last time I was driving down one of the county roads, feeling the wind in my hand, and seeing the stately pines lining the sides of the road. I feel like they are God’s red carpet saying, “Come. You are welcome here” just like Christ bids us to his throne through his death, burial and resurrection, which we celebrate today.
