Thank you for helping us continue this Chico tradition. As always, your funds make a difference in our community through supporting the Jesus Center which helps bring those suffering from isolation into community integration through transitional housing and vocational training programs.
In 2021 the Jesus Center moved and expanded its operations to Fair Street which now features beds for 60 men and women in a newly built Sabbath House and provides services and meals supporting these individuals. The Pathways Program helps streamline a path from hopelessness to full restoration.
The Run for Food started out in 2006 with just over 1,000 participants and now the event brings together 5,000 participants each year along with 75 businesses and 200 volunteers for a true community-wide event.
