Unfortunately, most of us know what a "rug" is in the NFT community. It goes something like this... a rug gets pulled out from under you when the "leaders" of a project either never release the NFTs, release a broken collection or abandon the project. In either scenario people lose money, time, and faith in the NFT community. Most of us have experienced at least 1 rug. Let's help each other avoid another one.
The idea came about when our founder was in the discord of a community that had just been rugged. It was absolute chaos in discord, almost animalistic behavior. Animals + Being Rugged = Rugimals was born. Rugimals represent the ones who still have faith but are sick of the toxicity and want to have fun countering it and representing the community the right way. Positive vibes, helping each other, and embracing this amazing time to be online.
