The Meadowlands Environment Center (MEC) is an educational facility in the New Jersey Meadowlands in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. It is currently operated by Ramapo College of New Jersey . The MEC offers a variety of programs for schools and the general public, including field trips, educational exhibits, and teacher training workshops.

The MEC was founded in 2003 as a partnership between the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission and Ramapo College. The center’s mission is to “increase awareness and enjoyment of the Meadowlands District’s unique and vital urban ecosystem.”
