My first book, The People’s Republic of Walmart , co-authored with Leigh Phillips was published by Verso Books in the spring of 2019. Elsewhere, my writing has appeared in venues like Jacobin , The Globe and Mail , The Toronto Star , Canadian Dimension (where I’m a columnist), Ricochet , Briarpatch Magazine , and The Tyee among others.
Between 2014 and 2018, I also produced a regular podcast called Political Eh-conomy Radio. All episodes are available on this site and you can always subscribe via iTunes . Guests have included global figures like Yanis Varoufakis, Branko Milanovic, Kshama Sawant and Doug Henwood as well as a raft of Canadians: Jim Stanford, Armine Yalnizyan, Hayden King and Sam Gindin among many others.
