I have previously been a postdoc in the Joint Quantum Institute at The University of Maryland, and had a short stint in industry at Cylite Optics . I completed a PhD in physics at The University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Science (Science Scholar Program)(Honours) at Monash University.

My current work is based around the development of ultra bright ion beams using laser cooled rubidium, for use in focused ion beam milling and microscopy.
