Description: Ronald Clark is a computer vision researcher working in the area of 3D vision. His research interests include visual SLAM, scene understanding, optimization methods, generative models and deep learning.
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Oxford . Before this I held an Imperial College Research Fellowship and served as principal investigator for my project on Machine Learning for Light Field Capture and Rendering. Prior to that I was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Dyson Robotics Lab .
My research interests lie at the intersection of 3D computer vision and computer graphics. Specifically, my research is focussed on building the necessary algorithmic frameworks to capture faithful 3D representations of the world in realtime. To achieve this, I am interested in three aspects:
