Description: ROB BERLINER is a songwriter, performer, and aspiring billionaire philanthropist. As a lyricist, he has been distinguished as a finalist for the Kleban Prize on three occasions, and was a 2021 finalist for the Fred Ebb Award.
Rob is the co-creator (lyrics/co-libretto) of A Hanukkah Carol, or GELT TRIP! The Musical , a contemporary, comedic, “kosher” spin on Dickens, which will receive its world premiere at DC’s Round House Theatre in 2024. Keeping with the holiday theme, his song “To A Brand New Year” (also with AHC ’s Aaron Kenny) was a 2019 Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominee for Best Original Song (Short Film). He is proud to be a member of the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Advanced Workshop, Actors Equity, SAG-AFTRA, “the tribe,” and to be a graduate of Northwestern University.
