Description: In 2004, the Gambis became the first and fastest to climb all of the Seven Summits together as a married couple. In addition to this Jo also became the fastest female to complete the Seven Summits and the second British woman to have completed Everest by the North/North East ridge, one of its more dangerous and demanding routes.

In 2005 Rob and Jo Gambi became the first married couple to climb the ‘7 Summits’ (the highest peak on each continent) and ski to the Poles. Rob was also the first Australian, and Jo the first female, to achieve this.
