The four-month inspirational journey will flow from Ottawa down the Ottawa River to Montreal, the St. Lawrence Estuary to Quebec city, the Saguenay Marine Park, across to Riviere de Loup and Kamouraska, a portage to the headwaters of the Wolastoq (St. John River), the length of the Wolastoq (St. John River) to Saint John and the Bay of Fundy and west along the Fundy coast to St. Andrews and Deer Island. The expedition will include regularly scheduled celebrations/gatherings along the way. These celebrations
is a unique and admirable challenge that I believe is necessary in order to help build a network of understanding that surrounds the waters that move us and provide for us. His journey will be taken as a result of a vision quest he received. I am confident he will experience a plethora of information in the form of stories from the surrounding people and communities he passes to the ways in which the rivers come together to support them.”
