Welcome to the home page of the proposed new National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Center (I/UCRC) on Real-Time Intelligence for Smart Electric Grid Operations (RISE). Clemson University and Georgia Institute of Technology collaboratively propose to form this new I/UCRC. The I/UCRC program within the NSF has been in existence for almost five decades. It is a vibrant program with over 75 centers around the country at any given time.
