Description: The RI Equitation Championships (RIEC) is an annual state championship horse show which began in 1980. RI Horseman's Association members qualify to compete by showing in RIHA Medal classes at affiliated horse shows throughout the year. We strive to run a competitve, safe and fun medal finals!

Again for the 2022 RI Finals, no qualification is needed to ride in the Short/Long Stirrup classes, nor for the 2' classes. All exhibitors need to be a member of the Rhode Island Horsemans's assocaition. Please visit the RIHA website. All Divisions 3 to fill a class; 10 points qualifies an exhibitor to ride in the finals; Can continue to show in it once qualified; Any RIHA show may offer two of each RIHA medals qualifying class on the same day; If too few entries warrant, the 3' Adult medal and the 3' Junio
Mini Medal Open to junior RIHA members who have not reached their 15th birthday and to riders 15 - 17 years of age who are eligible for limit equitation over fences as of December 1st in the current show year and have not competed in classes in which the entry may be required to jump higher than 3 feet. Fences 2'6".
Adult Mini Medal Open to Amateur Adult members of the Rhode Island Horseman's Association, who as of December 1 of the current show year have not jumped 3' or higher within the past two show years as a Junior or Adult exhibitor at a recognized show. Fences 2'6".
