Monday Night RFD members utilized the break in the rainy weather to get outside and do some hose evolutions. It was a great night to teach some new members proper techniques to deploy hose lines utilizing both Ladder 98 which uses the "Cleveland Load" and Rescue 98 which uses a "Flat Load." This morning RFD was dispatched along with Liberty Fire Company for a vehicle fire reported to a tractor trailer. The vehicle located on Commonwealth Drive in East Vincent was fully involved when crews from Spring City & Royersford arrived but was quickly brought under control with no involvement of the trailer or its contents. 63 & 98 personnel ensured the tractor fully extinguished before clearing ...
