REWIND Artists’ Video is an important resource for curators, scholars, students, artists and researchers. Based at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design (University of Dundee, Scotland, UK) it was established in 2004 by Prof Stephen Partridge, who formed a research group which initially began investigating video art in the UK in the 1970s & 1980s. REWIND has preserved and remastered many media artworks, both single screen and installation works for the various research projects and on a consultancy basis for external organisations and individuals.
