In 2008, we stumbled upon the possibility of recycling food waste on our dairy farm. We were looking to be more sustainable in our business practices and use the resources available to us... like using all our cow manure to make energy. So when the question, “Can you recycle food waste?” was asked, we said, “Yes, we will figure it out.” We are not afraid to try something new and this new endeavor fit with our mission statement.
