REIKI The word Reiki is the Japanese pronunciation of the Chinese characters that translate to mean spiritual life force energy. Usui Reiki is the spiritual healing method revealed to a man named Mikao Usui during a mystical experience in 1914. Reiki came to the United States via a Master-Teacher named Hawayo Takata in the 1930's.
The practice of Reiki is the act of laying-on of hands to transmit spiritual energy for the purpose of relaxation and healing. Healing may take place on a physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual level and may be subtle or dramatic, as determined by God.
Ellen received her Reiki Master attunement in 2004 during an unexpected, out-of-body experience with Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, and Hawayo Takata.
