We live in an age where citizenship can be denied because of one’s faith in states like Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Take the later, non-Muslim Saudis are forbidden from entering certain cities, driving on certain roads, working in certain professions. In some harrowing cases they even execute for religious belief.
