Chris loved life. Anyone who spent time with him knew that he loved to hang with his friends and his family, to meet new people and to help people. He was a gentle soul in a football players body. There wasn't a beach, a sunny day, a Patriots game, a good meal, a garden, or a dog that he didn't enjoy.
Chris leaves behind his faithful golden retriever Rosie. He loved his granddaughter Ariah and meeting her was the happiest day of his life. He also leaves behind Ariah's parents, his daughter Amanda and her partner Brendan from Connecticut. Chris leaves behind his son Daniel and his wife Elle from Maine. He spent the last weeks with his fiance Kim Converse from Massachusetts
Chris was born in Massachusetts and spent summers there with his grandparents. He was raised in Clinton Connecticut. He is predeceased by his parents, Warren and Shirley Rasmussen, his sister Lynn, and his children"s mom Kimberly. He leaves behind his brother Curtis and his wife Maureen, his uncle Wayne and his wife Maureen, his uncle Douglas and his wife Karen, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as friends from Clinton High School, Clinton, Ponds, Old Saybrook, New Haven, and Springfield.
