“Rampart Police Activities League, Inc” (RPAL, Inc) is a local LAPD-Rampart chapter of the California Police Activities League. RPAL, Inc is a 501c3 charity organization that promotes a greater understanding and trust between the youth of our community and the police officers who serve them. Rampart’s 330 police personnel provide service to about 164,961 inhabitants in a compact 5.54 square mile area. With a population density similar to Manhattan Island, it is no secret that Rampart is one of the busiest police stations in the nation. The Rampart Community includes several well-known areas and landmarks such as Echo Park, MacArthur Park, and the Rampart Victorian Homes.
