It all began in the early 1950s when Hilton Dodgen Sr. opened the Hi-Do Service Station on Hwy 25 South. The full-service gas station and car lot was owned and operated by Hilton and his sons until 1975.
Over the decades, the building, once home to the service station, has seen a variety of family business ventures and additions made to the original structure. Hilton’s wife, Evelyn, started a business in 1962 that continues today as the Rainbo. Hilton and Evelyn always possessed a love of antiquities, fine furniture, unusual finds and porcelain from around the world.
