For the abstract work, the gallery broadened its scope to more international paintings, from European abstraction lyrique to the American abstract expressionism as well as geometric abstraction. In June 2018, a new gallery opened on the ‘Eilandje’ next to Museum Aan de Stroom. This new step made it possible to give the bigger abstract works the presentation they deserve.
