Mike Rafik received his BA from Northwestern University in 1997. Three months later, he moved to Boulder, enrolled in the University of Colorado Law School, and began working at the Boulder Public Defender’s Office. During law school, Mike was a student in the Legal Aid & Defender clinic and a member of the University of Colorado Law Review, publishing an article on indigent capital defense.
