After a decade of living and working in leafy Buckinghamshire, I’ve recently returned to my Lancashire roots with my husband, young son and two cats. We enjoy visiting the coast and riding along the promenades on our bikes and scooters (yes, even us grown-ups!) We’re looking forward to some warmer weather so we can dig out our tent and have some more outdoor adventures. I also love the ’90s – as you might be able to guess from my retro-styled site right here.
On a professional level, I’ve a strong technical background and am a self-starter, comfortable leading projects single-handedly or working as part of a team, from concept through to deployment. I love people and am an excellent communicator across all levels of the client and internal organisation.
During my eight years at Currys I enjoyed working in a number of design roles, initially joining the e-commerce design team as Senior Web Designer. As the UX function began to grow, I moved across to the UI Design Team as Senior UI Designer which then progressed to managing the UI Design Team for the remaining 4 years.
