I was responsible for building complete reward solution and payment solution. Reward solution has multiple reward type which depends on earning and spending rule which depends on customer/user type.
Payment solution includes integrating third party payment solution like Stripe, Dwolla, BlackHawk Network. The payment solution is capable to charge customer/user based on their saved payment method preferences (reward, card, wallet, gift card), first it tries to charge customer/user with their 1st preferred payment method and if failed or not able to charge full amount, balance amount it tries with 2nd preferred method and so on. Hence ensure successful payment or very little chance of failure.
