Description: Queer in AI’s mission is to raise awareness of queer issues in AI and
machine learning, foster a community of queer (LGBTQ+) researchers and
celebrate the work of queer scientists. We build a visible community of
queer AI scientists through conference workshops, social meetups,
conference poster sessions, mentoring programs, graduate application
financial aid, and so on.

More than 500 folks are in the Queer in AI slack community. Our slack consists of dedicated channels for research, advice, announcements and discussion of many topics.
