On June 18, 2022, the CDC issued its recommendations for vaccines for children aged 6 months to 5 years old following FDA approval on June 14. According to Rhode Island state officials , vaccines are expected to be available for this population beginning the week of June 26, 2022, and individuals should speak with their healthcare provider about vaccine availability and/or find a clinic at vaccines.gov .
