This event is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Association of Calgary, striving to make a difference in the lives of those affected by epilepsy.
On March 9, 2023, the Epilepsy Association of Calgary hosted it’s second annual fundraising gala Purple Day by Night . All proceeds support the development and launch of new community-based pediatric epilepsy programs, supports, and education.
With over 230 attendees , this was the biggest event in our history and we’ve raised a record $70,000 so far — nearly doubling our total from last year!
Thank you to this year’s Honorary Chairs Kelly Hrudey, NHL legend and Broadcaster, and his daughter Jess Ling . Together, they shared their own journey with pediatric epilepsy, through their family member Maverick , age 4.
