Having been involved in the asian music circuit throughout the 80s, and promoting such musical legends as the late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ustad Mehdi Hasan, Reshma and nearly each and every musical artiste from India and Pakistan, the list is endless, not to forget the promotion of nearly every Bhangra group of the 80s such as Alaap, Heera, Premi, and many many more. Having been involved with various societies, he decided to launch the Bucks Punjabi Society in July 2006. The launch function at the Bull hotel in Gerrads Cross, Bucks, was a great success attended by 200 plus guests from all over the UK.
