In December, the Virginia State Water Control Board will vote to decide whether to allow the Atlantic Coast Pipeline (ACP) and the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP) to pass through the Commonwealth. The two fracked gas pipelines would cross headwater streams, rivers, drinking water reservoirs and wetlands. There is no documented need for these pipelines and no reasonable assurance they won't pollute Virginia waters.
Thousands of Virginians have already voiced their opposition to Dominion Energy's planned fracked gas pipelines, which threaten our water quality, environment, property rights and health, but the Water Control Board needs to hear from more of us.
