P oint-to-Point racing represents the grass roots of the sport you see enacted at Cheltenham, Ascot and Aintree. Young horses and riders cut their teeth on our country racecourses before graduating to the big time. These are venues where you can look back and say, “I saw him/her there first”.
Join us then to enjoy this most British of sports across the heartland of the sport in the West Mercian area. Covering fixtures from early November to the end of May, our 19 fixtures span five counties from Wrexham to south Gloucestershire, and from Ludlow in Shropshire to Paxford on the Gloucestershire-Warwickshire border.
Our friendly family-oriented events provide fiercely competitive racing, and consistently throw up leaders of the sport’s future: Sam Twiston-Davies, Fergal O’Brien, Conor Brace and Lilly Pinchin, to mention just a few.
