I have worked for various cultural resource management (CRM) firms over the years as well as at Plimoth Pawtuxet Museums (Plimoth Plantation when I worked there), the latter which was the most gratifying and life changing experience I ever had.  I also started my own CRM company called PARP (Plymouth Archaeological Rediscovery Project) in 2003, a venture that, as of July 2022, I have phased out of my life.  PARP was a project that I had hoped would allow me to explore more of Plymouth’s 17th century history

I enjoy sharing my extensive knowledge about archaeology and 17th century history through hands-on education programs and lectures.  Faunal analysis (the study of bones) is another of my passions. I love bones and foodways- I firmly believe that the way to a better understanding of the past is through our ancestor’s stomachs!  My other love is experimental archaeology. It is that right-brain thinking, hands-on is the best way of learning approach I have had all my life.  I hope to post a lot of experimental
