The Programs of WebGL include a control code that is written in JavaScript as well as shader code, which is written in the language of OpenGL ES Shading (GLSL ES). It is a language that is quite similar to C or C++. It is executed on the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) of a computer. WebGL is owned and designed by the Khronos Group (Non-Profit).
