First Up , we have an interesting post from the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture describing “Whiteness and White Culture” in the U.S. I urge you all to read the entire graphic and the entire post on the NMAAHC’s website , it is a doozy.
“Individualism, hard work, objectivity, the nuclear family, progress, respect for authority, delayed gratification, competition, justice, the scientific method, objective rational thinking.” The NMAAHC considers all of these signs of “Whiteness and White Culture in the US.”
